Leather Vambraces - Lord of the Rings

Made February - April 2024

For this project we experimented with lots of different embellishment techniques and made a final piece. I chose to recreate Boromir/Aragorn’s vambraces from Lord of the Rings. I consulted with experts to help source the veg tanned leather and created the design into this by hand, dyed the leather, and did the saddle stitching by hand.
